Machining Expert Service: Philippe Bocquet, Industrial Organization Consultant

How much does one hour of machine downtime cost? What is the real capacity of your machine tools? Most managers cannot answer immediately — not for lack of will, but for lack of a measuring system. We are pleased to introduce Philippe Bocquet, a mechanical engineer with 35 years of front-line industrial experience, now offering machine-tool organization and capacity optimization consulting for manufacturers in China.

Five opening questions — the ones that keep you up at night

  1. What types of production do you run? Which machines and materials?
  2. What is the load rate of your machines? What labor cost is required?
  3. How long are your downtime periods? What is the real productivity?
  4. What tools do you use to measure true production capacity?
  5. Do you need future investments? Which ones, to break bottlenecks?

If these sound familiar — this service may be just for you.

Who is Philippe

Philippe is a mechanical engineer with 35 years of hands-on industrial experience. He founded and ran an aerospace machining company, leading a 50-person team to build the production system from scratch — machining, quality and team management for the aerospace supply chain. He also set up a mechanical design office in Poland for a French group, bridging European standards with local execution. Today he works as an industrial organization consultant — going on-site, working with data, and delivering measurable results.

How we work together

  1. On-site diagnosis: assess machine organization and real capacity in your workshop.
  2. Optimization design: quantified improvements in selection, layout, cycle time and quality.
  3. Lean implementation: 5S, standardized work and preventive maintenance.
  4. Team building: train operators so the gains stay in-house.
  5. EU–China collaboration: cross-border manufacturing cooperation via the France, Poland and China networks.
Modular workholding

Because a machine that is not running loses money. Eliminate downtime from your production.
