ELINK Attended the Salon on Localization in the German Automotive Industry
On August 21, 2026, the Salon on Localization in the German Automotive Industry (Seizing the New Opportunities of IAA Regulations), hosted by the Yangtze River Delta NEV Global Hub, concluded successfully in Hongqiao, Shanghai. ELINK (Shanghai) Industrial & Trade Ltd. was invited to attend, joining upstream and downstream automotive companies, overseas business agencies and professional service providers to discuss investment in Germany and European market entry — from policy and market analysis to compliance and hands-on implementation.

About the salon
Distinguished speakers interpreted the German automotive market from multiple dimensions. Through real-world cases and practical methods, the salon built a systematic, professional decision-making reference framework for Chinese automotive companies planning to enter Germany. In his opening speech, Yuan Jinhe, General Manager of the Industrial Promotion Center of the Hub, noted that the salon marks a new starting point of the Hub's regular, continuous empowerment services — rooted in the Yangtze River Delta, radiating nationwide and connecting global industrial resources.

Speaker highlights: from market opportunities to implementation
- Dong Chongfeng (GM, International Cooperation Center of the Hub): systematic thinking behind the full chain from "manufacturing" to overseas "delivery" — supply-chain reshaping and overseas delivery capability building.
- Feng Xingliang (Chief Representative in China, NRW.Global Business): the location advantages, industrial ecosystem and policy support of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) as a core European automotive cluster.
- Yang Xinrui (Executive Director, DCBC): hands-on pain points of setting up in Germany — legal entity choice, bank account opening, tax compliance and HR management — and how to avoid the common early-stage pitfalls.
- Tao Feng (GM, BOOER Applied Materials GmbH): the full journey from Ningbo to Bavaria. BOOER has entered the supply chains of Renault, Stellantis, Tesla, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes-Benz — a real path for Chinese manufacturers to take root in Germany.
- Chen Hui (GM, OH HuiZhi Digital Technology): the compliance roadmap for the automotive supply chain entering Germany — cross-border data compliance, TISAX certification requirements, and the impact of the EU AI Act on intelligent connected vehicles.

Free exchange: supply-chain localization on our agenda
In the free exchange session, participants discussed specific pain points of the German market. ELINK joined face-to-face discussions with the speakers on supply-chain localization, European landing services and cross-border compliance. The salon also introduced the Germany–Austria study tour in autumn 2026, with one-on-one consultations on site.
Going global is not a trip, but a system. From market research and compliance to supply-chain localization, every step needs professional partners and reliable resources.
What ELINK takes away — and what comes next
As an MRO industrial distribution service provider, ELINK (Shanghai) Industrial & Trade Ltd. supplies oil mist collectors (authorized distributor of Filtermist), modular coolant hoses (Loc-Line) and other industrial products for manufacturers, supported by a China–Europe collaboration network. The salon gave us a clearer picture of the policy environment, compliance thresholds and landing paths of the German market.
We will integrate the policy and compliance insights into our service portfolio, providing Chinese manufacturers entering Europe with better-fitted industrial material supply, equipment support and after-sales service — and moving into the European market together with our industry partners.
