KOPAL Applications
KOPAL (France) is a specialist manufacturer of workholding and clamping systems. Its range covers monobloc clamps, chain clamps, Piccolo small clamps, horizontal clamping, Miniclamp, KOPAL FORCE, modular vices and the Azimut portable chamfering/deburring system, and can be combined with Loc-Line modular hose for pinpoint coolant delivery.
Shanghai Elink MRO Co., Ltd. is the KOPAL distributor in China (KOPAL workholding). Below is a gallery of application photos by product family.
1. Azimut Chamfering Spindle for Aluminium
The portable Azimut chamfering/deburring system with aluminium spindle delivers fast, consistent chamfers on straight or curved edges and complex internal profiles, with quick tool-holder changes.

2. Azimut Chamfering Spindle for Steel
The Azimut system with steel spindle handles mild steel as well as difficult materials such as stainless steel, Inconel and titanium.

3. Monobloc Chain Clamp – Workpiece Support
The monobloc chain clamp supports and clamps workpieces; its links follow the part surface, ideal for fast set-up on rough or irregular parts.

4. Chain Clamp – Machine Tool Workpiece Support
Chain clamps give stable support on the machine table; combined with T-slot bolts they allow flexible multi-point, multi-station clamping.

5. Loc-Line Modular Coolant Delivery
KOPAL workholding combined with Loc-Line modular hose puts coolant exactly at the cutting edge, improving tool life and surface finish.

6. High Pressure Coolant
High pressure coolant delivery through nozzles and modular hose reaches the cutting zone, suited to deep-hole machining and difficult-to-cut materials.

7. Chamfering & Deburring Tools
The KOPAL chamfering tool range covers hand-held carriers, guide plates and cutters for chamfers, radii and deburring on component edges.

8. KOPAL Modular Vice
The KOPAL modular vice takes interchangeable jaws and modules for flexible clamping of mixed, small-batch parts.

9. KOPAL FORCE
KOPAL FORCE delivers higher clamping force for heavy cutting operations and applications requiring maximum rigidity.

10. Horizontal Clamping 6500 N
Horizontal clamping (6500 N) uses the horizontal force component to hold the part down with a very low profile, leaving clearance for the tool path.

11. Horizontal Clamping 10000 N
Horizontal clamping (10000 N) delivers higher clamping force in the same envelope for heavy-duty machining centres.

12. Miniclamp Compact Clamping
Miniclamp units are very compact, made for confined spaces and small parts.

13. Monobloc Clamp
The monobloc clamp is a one-piece design with high rigidity and fast installation — the most widely used clamping element in general milling fixtures.

14. Monobloc Clamp – Cylinder Head Machining
Monobloc clamps applied to engine cylinder head machining, clamping at multiple points to avoid distortion of thin-wall parts.

15. Monobloc Clamp – Twin Station
The twin-station monobloc clamp holds two parts in one set-up, cutting load/unload time.

16. Monobloc Clamp – Heavy Duty
The heavy duty monobloc clamp has a reinforced section for high metal-removal rates.

17. Piccolo Small Clamp
Piccolo small clamps are compact, suited to small parts and densely packed fixture layouts.

18. Piccolo Chain Clamp
The Piccolo chain clamp combines fast set-up with self-adjusting contact.
